
- 6 chicken wings
- 1 tablespoon dark soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons light soy sauce, or according to taste
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- 3 tablespoon chopped garlic
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 300 ml water
Steps:
- Marinate chicken wings in a mixture of the soy sauce, sugar, sesame oil, garlic and coarsely pounded black pepper overnight or for at least one hour.
- Pour chicken wings together with marinade into a wok/pan.
- Add water and bring to the boil at high heat for five minutes, with the wok covered.
- Remove the lid, and continue to simmer over low heat till sauce has thickened.
- Dish up and serve hot.
